Dear Obama Lover – You Wasted Your Whole Life Being An Annoying Democrat

winning the senate

I read an article by bernardpliers, he wanted his article Dear Obama Hater – You Just Wasted A Decade Of Your Life to go viral. It has. Congratulations.

Here is my response:

Dear Obama Lover – You Wasted Your Whole Life Being An Annoying Democrat.

I love how Democrats continuously pen Republicans as crazy, hate-filled, and racist. I understand that doing so is much easier than proving our beliefs to be detrimental, or invalidating our economic theories with real un-spun data.

If the definition of insanity is repeating the same mistakes over and over and expecting a different result, this is how I would best describe Democrats. Do you know what happens to those who witness you repeating these same, hamster like rotations? It drives them CRAZY!

Admittedly, we’ve lost some friends over the last decade (none that will be missed).

As much as you would like to believe all of us nut job conservatives are just sitting around in diners hating on King Obama and his ostentatious vacations, the implosion of his stimulus package, the Obamacare fiasco, the substantial increase of dependents on entitlement programs, accepting the Nobel Peace Prize and then successfully dividing and setting back our country in terms of race relations, etc. etc. etc… don’t you worry that pretty little mind!

If we were to just sit around “wailing” about our misfortunes, and expecting someone to just come along and fix all of our problems because “we deserve it!” – we would be just the typical Democrat now wouldn’t we? Like the true core of a Republican, we’ve been hard at work- revamping the core of our party, winning the senate- you know, just the same ol’ same ol’.

It’s nice that you dedicated a whole article on your theory of what the Republicans have been up to for the past decade, it’s nice that you’ve been thinking of us over the years, and speculating. I’m guessing that has been all that the liberals have been doing over the past decade, sitting around thinking about Republicans and what they’re up to, because you haven’t gotten much else accomplished.

Despite claiming that the recession is over and the economy is back in full swing and always-oh-so-much-better-don’t-you-know with a democrat in office, 9.1 Million Americans are still without a job. The amount of people dependent on welfare is an astonishing 45 million. We have now broken the record for citizens on “disability” at 8.8 million. Thanks to your article, we know what the Republicans have been up to this past decade, what we don’t know is, what have the Democrats been up to this decade? While everything was under their control, nothing has gotten better. Nothing!

Hopefully in the next two years, with the senate being run by the Republicans, things will get done, and the Democrats will try to take credit for it. You’re welcome.

Yes, there certainly will be embassy attacks, hopefully none fatal, but certainly not including dissimulation by the same leaders sworn to protect their citizens.

P.S. During this decade, I EARNED not one but TWO college degrees, started writing my novel, ran my first marathon, y aprendido a decir eres un idiota en espanol.

We read to learn, to feel, to laugh, to understand others. We write to teach, express, communicate, to inspire others. I created Invisible Ink as an outlet of sorts, an area where I can organize the chaos; a place where hopefully I can be true to myself, and my readers. Writing is personal, it takes a brave and dedicated soul to formulate a piece and then share it with the world. That being said, I get just as much out of reading other's work as I do sharing mine ( I am always open to manuscript review swaps, just send me a message). Words read off a page evoke emotions. When taken out of context, or through an out of focus lens - anyone can mold the words, shifting their meaning to fit their agenda or distorted outlook. Staying true to form and myself, I won't censor my content, but I will censor my audience. Whatever lens you happen to be reading this through - I hope you enjoy!

  1. Thoughtful. If one follows the right, or the left for any distance, they find themselves so far removed from common sense that there is no way back. You have to dig for the truth yourself. Beware of those who come wrapped in the flag; it’s the last refuge of the scoundrel.

    1. Thank you! And I whole heartedly agree…I wanted to add in a blurb about how it is much more common to see hybrid versions of yesterdays political parties, but didn’t find it extremely relevant. One can walk on the right side, but be pro-choice, and for equal rights, just as a lefty can be for smaller government involvement and a huge second amendment rights activist. It seems those on both outer ends of the spectrum have lost any and all common sense!

      1. I had a long reply telling you about my fights with the veteran’s admin., but hit the wrong button and lost it, now I’m overcome by a wave of apathy.

  2. Your “PS” appears to conflict with your statement that “nothing has gotten better. Nothing!” Your own life is better because you made it better, and it has nothing to do with which party rules government, or who gets elected President.

I don’t always like or trust the individuals in office either, but I’ve never found it to be a significant factor in my successes or failures. Economies go up and down everywhere. When money’s tighter, you adapt and innovate.

    1. Mikey- thanks for the response. Its not necessarily a conflict, rather a “despite”. I agree with you, regardless of who is in office, you are responsible for your own successes and failures.

“Nothing has gotten better” referred to the country as a whole, not my personal endeavors.

I firmly believe in “necessity breeds innovation”…lets face it, politicians will be just that, politicians.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
